Description

Basilius I. Macedonicus, 867-886, mit Constantinus. Solidus 871/886,, Konstantinopel. 4.34 g. 19.3 mm. Der bärtige Christus mit Nimbus im Segensgestus mit Bibel in der Linken sitzt auf einem Thron in Vorderansicht. Rv. Drapierte Büste des Basilius I. (links) mit Loros und drapierte Büste des Constantinus (rechts) mit Chlamys, beide mit Krone, in Vorderansicht. Sie halten gemeinsam mit der Rechten Patriarchenkreuz. Sear 1704. Sehr schön.
